Dateline: November 24, 2003
Yesterday, I submitted my finished novel for inclusion in the winner's list for the 2003 National Novel Writing Month. Using a partially oulined work, I developed the story and wrote madly, ending up with 90,634 words. The requirement was for 50,000, so I made it, and even had a week to spare! This means I still have time to edit...
But since I'm fairly confident of my abilities, I'm posting the novel anyway, as-is. It's a silly romance, but a page-turner nonetheless, and I hope you'll take some time to enjoy it. Feel free to send me your comments and feedback; I may or may not be able to respond to your feedback.
This was an amazing and enlightening experience, and I hope to have something worked up in my head to be suitable for next year's contest.
Until then, I hope you'll enjoy my first foray into the world of NANOWRIMO!
